DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DELHI (Friday)
Welcome to India. Arrival in Delhi by evening or night. Guests will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Delhi, India’s capital city, combines centuries of history with modern life and is the perfect starting point for our journey.
Overnight in Delhi.
DAY 2 DELHI – JAIPUR (Saturday)
Drive approximately 5–6 hours Travel to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City. Jaipur is famous for royal palaces, colorful bazaars, traditional textiles, and vibrant artisan culture. After arrival and check-in, enjoy a free evening. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 3 BAGRU ARTISAN EXPERIENCE (Sunday)
Today we visit Bagru, a traditional artisan village known for its historic textile printing techniques.
Participate in a hands-on Indigo Mud Resist (Dabu) Workshop and discover natural dyes, handmade processes, and local craftsmanship.
Create your own textile pieces while learning directly from local artisans. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAYS 4–5 – DISCOVER JAIPUR (Monday & Tuesday)
Explore the cultural highlights of Jaipur.
Visit:
- Amber Fort
- City Palace
- Jal Mahal. Experience Rajasthan’s artistic traditions through workshop visits and local shopping opportunities. Jaipur is known for block printing, textiles, jewelry, and handcrafted goods. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 6 – JAIPUR → AGRA VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI (Wednesday)
Drive approximately 6 hours Travel toward Agra with a stop in Fatehpur Sikri, the historic Mughal city and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue to Agra.
Overnight in Agra.
DAY 7 – AGRA HERITAGE EXPERIENCE (Thursday)
Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal.
Experience the changing morning light on one of the world’s most iconic monuments. Continue to:
- Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah)
- Sunset at Mehtab Bagh
Overnight in Agra.
DAY 8 – AGRA → SHIVPURI / RISHIKESH REGION (Friday)
Travel north by daytime train.
Arrival in Shivpuri and transfer to Maasa Retreat & Resort.
Overnight in Shivpuri.
CREATIVE RETREAT AT MAASA RETREAT AND RESORT. Daily morning yoga included from Day 10–14
ABOUT SHIVPURI
Shivpuri is a small village located approximately 10 km from Rishikesh.
Unlike the lively atmosphere of Rishikesh, Shivpuri offers a peaceful environment surrounded by nature and the Ganges River.
Guests who wish to visit Rishikesh or Tapovan during the day or evening are welcome to do so.
Transport can be arranged at an additional cost.
DAY 9 – RIVER & RELAXATION (Saturday)
Enjoy a relaxed morning.
In the afternoon, we walk to the Ganges River for a riverside picnic and quiet time in nature.
Overnight at Maasa Retreat & Resort.
DAY 10 – YOGA & RISHIKESH EXPLORATION (Sunday)
Morning yoga session.
Visit:
- Tapovan
- Beatles Ashram
- Explore the atmosphere of Rishikesh Return to the retreat in the evening. Overnight in Shivpuri.
DAY 11 – WOOD CARVING WORKSHOP (Monday)
Learn traditional wood carving techniques and create your own printing block. Experience the craftsmanship behind handmade textile tools.
DAY 12 – BLOCK PRINTING WORKSHOP (Tuesday)
Use our wide range of carved wooden blocks to print on fabric and explore traditional printing methods.
Experiment with patterns and composition.
DAY 13 – INDIGO SHIBORI WORKSHOP (Wednesday)
Discover indigo dyeing and Shibori resist techniques.
Create unique hand-dyed textile pieces.
DAY 14 – SELF PRACTICE & CREATIVE EXPLORATION (Thursday)
A relaxed studio day to continue practicing and experimenting with the techniques learned during the retreat.
Take time to create, reflect, and enjoy the peaceful retreat atmosphere.
DAY 15 – RETURN TO DELHI (Friday)
Transfer back to Delhi.
Airport drop-off included.
An extra overnight stay in Delhi can be arranged at an additional cost.
End of Tour.
